Project Description
As a professional actor, I found myself juggling audition emails, calendars, self-tape deadlines, casting contacts and payment records across multiple apps.
Audiack was created to solve that problem.
The app brings together every stage of an actor's workflow into one place, from receiving an audition through to tracking bookings and income. It provides an organised system that helps actors stay prepared, meet deadlines and build better habits throughout their careers.
Built using modern React Native technologies, Audiack focuses on simplicity, speed and reliability while working completely offline for day-to-day use.
The Challenge
Actors often rely on a mixture of calendars, notes, spreadsheets, emails and messaging apps to manage their careers.
Important audition details can easily become scattered across different places, increasing the risk of missed deadlines, forgotten self-tapes or lost casting information.
The goal was to design a single application that could manage an actor's professional workflow from audition to booking while remaining clean, intuitive and quick to use.
The Solution
Audiack combines the essential tools actors use every day into one dedicated mobile application.
Key features include:
- Track in-person auditions
- Track self-tape submissions
- Store casting contacts
- Schedule reminders
- Calendar integration
- Income tracking
- Career insights and statistics
- Audition history
- Personal acting profile
- Offline-first experience
- Optional Pro features for unlimited records and exports
The interface was designed to minimise administration, allowing actors to spend more time preparing for auditions and less time organising information.
