WEBBERDOO STARTER 2.0 — BROWSER INSTALLER Deployment target example: https://starter.webberdoo.com Recommended shared-host deployment: 1. Upload the full application, including vendor/ and public/build/. 2. Point the subdomain document root at the application's public/ directory. 3. Ensure the project root and var/ are writable by PHP during installation. 4. Create an empty MySQL/MariaDB database and database user in the hosting panel. 5. Visit https://starter.webberdoo.com/install/ 6. Complete Environment → Application → Database → Email → Administrator. 7. The final step runs Doctrine migrations internally; no SSH or shell command is required. 8. On success the installer writes APP_INSTALLED=1 to .env.local and var/installed.lock. 9. /install/ then returns 404 and public/index.php no longer redirects there. Security / configuration notes: - The installer never overwrites the committed .env file. - It creates/updates only .env.local and preserves unrelated existing .env.local values. - A fresh production APP_SECRET is generated automatically when needed. - DATABASE_URL uses the database server version detected by SELECT VERSION(). - Passwords are never written to installer log files. - SMTP may be configured during installation or deferred.
